Executives of Srisuwanphas Company Limited joined the Buddhist chanting ceremony and offered a floral offering to honor and invite the statue of King Taksin the Great when he was ordained to make merit on the occasion of the 288th anniversary of his birth at the Yogavajorn Dharma Center.

In addition, Phra Ajahn Phisit Sujinno, the abbot of the Vipassana Meditation Center of Dharma Yoga and the Dusitdharam Temple, Worawihan, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, has kindly allowed the original Phra Sri Ariya Maitreya statue, along with the Ratana Chati mass, to join the ceremony for good fortune before opening for reservations on April 17, 2022.

In May 2022, Phra Ajahn Phisit Sujino will be the head of the monks in praying and consecrating the mass of ratana and iron that will be used to cast the Phra Sri Ariya Maitreya statue at Wat Khao Khun Phanom, Phrom Khiri District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, at the foot of Khao Khun Phanom, an ancient temple, assumed to have been built during the Nakhon Si Thammarat Kingdom, around the 18th to 20th Buddhist centuries. According to local legend in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Wat Khao Khun Phanom has a good relationship with King Taksin.

King Taksin the Great was a king who had great faith in Buddhism and practiced meditation in the middle order, with Yanasangwon Sukkaitheun as his teacher.

When he regained his independence, he first supported Buddhism by organizing the Sangha and appointing the Supreme Patriarch to be the administrator of the Sangha. He ordered the collection of important scriptures in various cities to compile the Tripitaka and completed the Tripitaka recitation to be correct and acceptable. He donated money to renovate many temples, such as Wat Inthararam and Wat Rakhang Khositaram. He also supported monks to study the Dhamma seriously. He practiced Buddhism as a good example. He donated money to the poor who fled from war and practiced Vipassana meditation regularly. Even though he had to face economic and war problems, he was diligent in promoting Buddhism to be firmly established in Thailand. These royal duties clearly honor him and serve as a guideline for those interested in studying and researching his royal duties in promoting and maintaining Buddhism. Buddhism of other Thai kings
